The Mrs. and Mr.

Hi There! My name is April and I am a mother of 2 wonderful children. ( I will introduce them on their own pages, this page is all about the parents! ) I have been married to a great man for 6 years now. I am only 24. My hometown is Augusta, GA. We moved to Nashville, TN a little over 2 years ago. I am a web designer and graphic designer. Luckily I have had the privileged to work at home since their birth. I love being a stay-at-home mom and enjoy creating our home.

My husband, Rhett, is a musician so our lifestyle isn’t the typical suburban scenario. Our schedule is very spontaneous and unpredictable due to his traveling. So my job is to try to create a calm amidst all of the chaos. Rhett is the greatest father and best friend. He is an amazing leader and husband. We have been through a lot together therefore we know each other pretty well.

We met when we were 17 and 18. Yes I am older. Within a short time we were married and expecting our firstborn. We faced many critics. With the support of family and friends we were able to discover the blessings of marriage and parenthood. Growing up so quickly we had sort of an advantage on life. We were ahead of the game so to speak. I know without a doubt that God is the only reason that our situation turned out so amazing. Every decision we make we do it for His purpose and not ours. In result we have a great marriage, happy and healthy children, careers we enjoy, the ability to home-school, we live in Nashville, and have wonderful friends.

Our family loves to have movie nights, go on walks, play/watch football, read, go to museums/Science centers, shop the farmers market, and eat with friends.
